LPGA-USGA Girls Golf

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf provides an opportunity for girls (7-17) to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment. Girls will learning values inherent to the game of golf, such as practice, respect, perseverance, and honesty.

Girls are not only treated to the fundamentals (grip, swing, posture, etc.) but they learn valuable tips on etiquette, rules and history of the game. Whether the goal is to compete at the highest levels or to play on a high school golf team, or simply to be outdoors and have fun with friends, girls are gaining more than just athletic skill.

LPGA USGA Girls Golf is setting a priority for the promotion of golf among young girls. This program is providing girls from all walks of life the opportunity to play golf together and at the same time preparing them to meet a challenging world with confidence.

Each site is coordinated on the local level by a “site director”. These directors can be LPGA or PGA professionals, USGA or EWGA members, Girl Scout leaders, members of local golf associations, moms, or dads – anyone who supports growing the game of golf for girls. LPGA USGA Girls Golf programs must have an LPGA or PGA professional leading the instruction.
